Restrained and refined, the nose is bright with orange blossom, honeysuckle, peaches, pineapple, grapefruit, almond, and pistachio. The flavors are consistent, tending toward sweetened fruit—candied grapefruit and orange peel, grilled pineapple, brown sugar-coated almonds—bound in a creamy length of silk. Loch Lomond Original is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied and easy drinking single malt scotch whisky. Matured in our finest oak casks, this whisky showcases a distinctive character with creamy malty notes and a hint of peat. NOSE: Very floral – orange blossom and honeysuckle with ripe peach and melted brown sugar. TASTE: Opens on a honeyed sweetness, orchard fruit of red apple and pear before the intensity lifts to tropical fruit of melon and kiwi with lime citrus. FINISH: Long with tart green fruit, gooseberry, and waves of warming cinnamon spice.
