Rose blossom, vanilla, and cocoa powder to start, while sultana, walnut, and oloroso notes develop in time on the nose. Soft on the palate, with tingling spices, malt extract, cake mix, raisins, dates, figs, and dark chocolate, all set against relatively dry oak. Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Oloroso Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 12 Years has been lovingly crafted, from a selection of the finest Oloroso sherry casks, and aged for at least 12 years. COLOUR: WARM GOLD. NOSE: RICH AND INVITING WITH AROMAS OF TREACLE TOFFEES, TOASTED PECANS, SWEET RAISINS AND SOFT SMOKY HIGHLIGHTS. PALATE: CREAMY AND LUXURIOUS WITH LAYERS OF MOCHA, BRAZIL NUT TOFFEE, FRUIT CAKE, CANDIED PEELS AND BRANDY BUTTER. FINISH: LONG AND SILKY WITH NOTES OF CHOCOLATE ECLAIR, CREME CARAMEL AND HINTS OF CLOVE.
