As to the red, the 2021 Collioure Chrysopée is based on 85% Grenache and the rest Mourvèdre that was destemmed and brought up in 85% Grenache and 15% Mourvèdre. Black raspberries, hints of cassis, minty herbs, and iron, as well as a distinct marine-like character, define the aromatics and it's medium to full-bodied, has a balanced, elegant mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and ultra-fine tannins. It's another brilliant, singular wine from this estate.
