Made by marrying five of Laphroaig's all-time favorite casks, each with its own story to tell, this is a cask-strength version of one of the distillery's best loved expressions, Cask Lore. Cask Lore is a fan-favorite classic – and one of the distillery's most complex, layered flavor profiles. With this special version, anyone can enjoy it just like Laphroaig's whisky makers do. On the palate, Lore Cask Strength makes a dramatic entrance with notes of peat and sea salt, before leading to a peppery sparkle, with lemon, limes and caramel, and flavors like minty tea, cumin, cloves and ginger. It finishes with a bold antiseptic burst, and leaves you with a hint of sweet citrus.
