This 100% malted barley spent two years in new charred oak and boasts an amber color, sweet caramel scent with a touch of coconut and juicy apple, and relatively dry flavors. What sets this whiskey apart is the remarkable deep cocoa and pronounced coffee finish and velvety, creamy mouthfeel, reminiscent of ice cream and root beer foam. An alcohol sting cuts through, but should temper over ice nicely. ... More details

Toasted oak, pineapple stalk, and honey come to mind at first, with layers of Marcona almond, lemon peel, and milk chocolate underneath. Supple and fruit-forward, the palate is awash in apricot, nuts, and more honey, before pink peppercorn and sweet spice join in. - 2023 ULTIMATE SPIRITS CHALLENGE

Gold color. Aromas and flavors of rising bread dough, mixed garden herbs, butterscotch and vanilla, cinnamon, orange, and and baked apple with a velvety, lively, dry medium body and a warming, appealing, medium-length finish conveying accents of honey malt and cocoa powder, vanilla and butterscotch, orange and baking spices, and shortbread. A high quality American Single Malt with layers of fruit and balanced barrel spices; tasty and delightful.
Winery
Color: Burnt amber. Nose: Caramel-butterscotch, vanilla, maple syrup, leather. Palate: Cinnamon-butter, vanilla, chocolate, warm caramel & spiced pear. Flows over the tongue like table cream & melted brown sugar. Finish: Light fruitiness and strong oak presence with rich tobacco and aged leather.

Country: United States

The first European settlers to consider growing grapevines in the United States must have been delighted when they discovered the now famous wine regions within California, Oregon and elsewhere. Not even in the Old World are there such fertile valleys, made ideal for vine cultivation by the blazing sunshine, long, hot summers and oceanic breezes. As such, it comes as little surprise that today more than eighty-nine percent of United States wines are grown in the valleys and on the mountainsides of California, where arguably some of the finest produce in the world is found. However, American wine does not begin and end with California, and due to the vast size of the country and the incredible range of terrains and climates found within the United States, there is probably no other country on earth which produces such a massive diversity of wines. From ice wines in the northern states, to sparkling wines, aromatized wines, fortified wines, reds, whites, rosés and more, the United States has endless surprises in store for lovers of New World wines.
